Being able to speak French if you are an immigrant in France simplifies your life. It will open up wider opportunities, personally or professionally. Meeting and hanging out with French people will be easier if you speak their language. Along with it, you would discover a lot about their culture and tradition. It signifies independence.
I know how frustrating it is when everybody is laughing out loud and you’re there in the midst of all that, bewildered about what has just happened. Or, when you have a good idea or a joke but then you can’t convey them because of the language barrier. The worst part is going to French government agencies to process some papers and you need someone to go with you because you cannot communicate with them.
Learning French is vital if we choose to live here. We cannot master it overnight. It requires patience, effort, and some cash. But the last can be dispensed with or minimized if you know where to look. Here are some of the places where you could go to practice your French.
