Seafoods in Paris at Léon de Bruxelles- République

Léon de Bruxelles RépubliqueSurprisingly, after the cold and rainy weeks, today’s weather was just too good to let pass without strolling around Paris. To start the good afternoon walk, we decided to have lunch at Léon de Bruxelles in République.  It is the first Léon restaurant in Paris that was opened in 1989 and one of my favorites. This chain of restaurants known for serving mussels and traditional Belgian cuisine was born in Bruxelles more than 100 years ago.
Being an island girl from the Philippines, I think I would die from lack of seafood disease if I will be deprived of these things. Right now, I remember the Mussels with Roquefort and the French fries which I had for lunch. It was creamy and it was like the strong flavor of the roquefort diffused all over the fresh mussels. Their French fries was excellent too. A good sauvignon blanc completed my meal.
The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant would really entice you once you open their door. And when the place is like that, it seems to make all the people inside friendly and calm. You would feel some privacy too and the serveurs were welcoming.
Their menu price was correct. It ranges from 15€ to 25€.

I’ll be coming back for SURE…
